Jacque Donaldson is dedicated to amplifying the voices of those who use art to create social change and to connect communities. She is an advocate for equity in the arts sector, accessible professional development and mentoring leadership - services provided to members of Young Professionals in the Arts, the networking community she co-founder alongside Mara Vlatkovic in 2015. As a cultural organizer, she produces partnered events for YPA members, with emerging and diverse organizations such as Sing For Hope PianosCenter for Creative PerformanceArtsyPulse Contemporary Art FairJazz At Lincoln Center as well as coordinates panels and workshops with a range of leaders in the industry on issues such as pay equityjob negotiation, and pitching to investors.

Jacque provided resources and mentorship to artists and panelists in all disciplines for a state-funded fellowship program and curated exhibitions alongside Director, David C. Terry before joining the Public Programming team for the Center of Visual Culture at the International Center of Photography. She has held speaking engagements at New York Foundation for the ArtsInternational Center for Photography, and Roger Smith Hotel for their 2018 Artist Residency Fellowship program.

Jacque has a Master’s in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Arizona State University’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. She has over five years of experience in museums and non-profits within the curatorial, exhibition, and programming sectors. Jacque lives in Brooklyn but remains tied to Dallas and Phoenix.
